The blogger world is indeed small, Murphy. I just happened across your name after clicking on a link I found on another blog. THis is Roxanne Watts from Bastrop. . .it's been years since I've seen you. . .How is Mrs. Rosie doing? I sent her a Christmas card in 2004 but not this past year. Is she still living at Harding Place?

Congratulations on the adoption of your daughter from China. That is incredibly exciting.

I am actually Roxanne Langley now. I live in Houston with my husband, Tony. We have been married for almost 13 years. Our daughter will be 8 in July and our little boy will be 5 in June. We both teach Jr. High school. I stayed home with the kids as long as I could and went back to work last year.

Hope this finds you well and happy. I'd love to hear from you sometime.

Murphy, do you remember Ryan and Amy G from HU Chorus? They just adopted a little girl from China as well. You may already know this, but if you didn't, I thought you might like to know.

If only all couples wanting to be parents were required to write a statement like that one...beautiful! That letter will be special to your daughter some day. You have inspired me to write one for our son as a constant reminder of who I want to be as a Mom. Thank you for sharing it with us.
