Waiting…

A lot of people are asking about our adoption and if we have brought our daughter home yet. Well, not yet and we will still have a long time to wait!

Here is how it works. Our China dossier was logged into the China Adoption Center’s computer on July 12, 2006 (our LID for log-in-date). Right now the waith is 15-16 months after one’s LID. So, if things don’t change either way, we are looking at receiving a referral sometime in October or November, 2007!

We are fervently praying that this wait will go down. Join us in asking God to bless this entire process, that more orphaned children may find loving families sooner and that the days left until we can hold our daughter in our arms will be shorter and shorter each month!
