We found out this week that the referral wait time for China has gone up two months. The wait is now 17-18 months. This means that it will be an extra two months before we can bring out little girl home pushing the date on into 2008!
Our LID is July 12th, 2006. A 17 month referral from that date would be December 12th, 2007. An 18 month referral from that date would be January 12, 2008. We travel to China TWO months after referral meaning that as things are now (if they don’t increase) we will travel to China in February/March 2008 to bring our daughter home.
When we started this process back in 2005 the wait time was 6 months. Over the past 15 months it has increased to 18 months. Join us in prayer that this will go down so that we can bring our daughter home!
