I spent the whole day today putting together updated documents so that we can re-apply for the I-600a (the US document that allows us to bring an orphan into the US).
We applied and were approved in 2006. But that approval is only good for 18 months (it expires 11/30/2007). So, we had to update our police reports from Texas, Arkansas and Togo as well as update our Home Study. Now that it’s all assembled, Christine and I will head on over to Fed-Ex tonight and Express mail all of this new paper work to Rome, Italy to the USCIS office there.
I’ve heard that the re-approval process is pretty basic and easy. But we still need to pray that it goes well and that we are approved for the 2nd time!
Thanks for your prayers…

Hey Curtis,
United States Citizen Immigration Services (used to be called the INS).
Great question…
What is the”USCIS office”? Rome?
